Shifting Advocacy gUG (haftungsbeschränkt), Rheinbacher Str. 26, 50937 Köln, Germany. Contact: info@shiftingadvocacy.eu. See also the imprint and the general privacy policy of Shifting Advocacy. This page covers Atrium (unatrium.app, website and app).
Your choices (language, experience level, topics, saved entries, checkmarks) stay in your browser and are not sent to us. For offline use, your browser keeps a copy of the app files; they contain no personal data.
To log in, we send a six-digit code to your e-mail address. We store:
Your Signal username is shown to others only after a contact request was accepted. Admins of your organisation see your name to confirm your membership. The login service records time and IP address of each login; we delete these records after 30 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the app).
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile. All your data is then deleted. Actions you entered stay, without your name.
If you allow notifications, we store the technical push address of your device (issued by your browser vendor), your language, topics and saved entries. This also works without an account, then without name and e-mail. Messages are sent encrypted through the push service of your browser (for example Apple, Google or Mozilla). For the calendar subscription we create a secret address that contains only your saved entries.
To see which parts of Atrium are used, we count how often each area of the app is opened, as totals per day and conference, not linked to a person. For logged-in accounts we only note on which days the account was active, to count active accounts per day; we delete these entries after 60 days. Only totals are evaluated, including the number of members per organisation and constituency. There are no external analytics services, no tracking cookies and no tracking across other sites. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an app that meets people's needs).
All data is stored on a server of netcup GmbH in Germany (EU). The login code is sent from noreply@unatrium.app by an e-mail provider in the EU. Fonts are loaded from our own server. The web server keeps no access logs. We do not use advertising.
The positions of Parties and negotiating groups come from public sources (Earth Negotiations Bulletin, Third World Network, ECO, submissions to the UNFCCC). To assign these public texts, and to read the published pavilion programmes, we use an AI service (Anthropic, USA). Only these public texts are sent, never data about users.
The app links to videos on YouTube, to documents of the UNFCCC and others, and to Signal groups. Nothing from these sites is embedded. Data goes to them only when you open a link, and their privacy terms apply there.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to us at the address above. You can complain to a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
